Incomindios

Zürich, Switzerland · Founded 1974

Incomindios was founded in 1974 when indigenous delegates first sought access to the UN in Geneva. For over 50 years, they have defended the rights of indigenous peoples across North, Central and South America — working on recognition, self-determination, and justice at an international level.

"Indigenous peoples are not relics of the past. They are living communities with rights, knowledge, and a vital role in shaping a just future."

Consciente

San Francisco Gotera, El Salvador · Founded 2010

Consciente is an initiative for creative and critical education for all, active in the Morazán department of El Salvador. For over a decade, they have worked to advance equal access to education and improve school quality — running programmes in educational innovation, sustainability, and scholarships for young people from low-income backgrounds.

"Education is the foundation of young people to take their future into their own hands and improve their lives through their own strengh."
